We have worked in large firms and done great work for clients, friends and causes, but we could have done more. On occasion a prospective client would describe a meaty challenge, but then reveal a less than hearty appetite for investment in addressing it.
These are the assignments that are most fulfilling, because they are intimate. There won’t be a gaudy process or team to hide behind, just you, the work and the client. And when it works, it’s a very good thing.
